Hi all,
Not an LS1 question but I know there are plenty of knowledgeable folk on here.
Can anyone tell me if there are any traps or complications when replacing the rotors and pads on the front only of a 2001 XC barina? Looking to do this during the week but if there's potential problems or difficulties I'll get a workshop to do it.

I found a guide on the net for replacing the pads but it's a little unclear and didn't mention anything about replacing rotors.

I've done the brakes on my VX, so I have worked on brakes before, not a complete noob so to speak.

Any info appreciated :)

If you've done the vx the beep beep will be no problems.

Just make sure to clean the hub surface before mounting the new rotor.

Sounds good. I got some good prices on rotors and pads today so I think it's a goer.

Another question... Apparently the accessory belt needs replacing, I was under the impression it only had one serpentine belt? Any forseeable issues with changing it... apart from perhaps it's a pain to get at because of the engine layout?

Mate check out opelaus.com lots of helpful stuff available

The XC Barina is really an Opel Corsa

Have you tried GSL Rallysport for prices on pads & rotors
