Pontiac G8 Seats

Can anyone tell me if there are any differences between the SS seats and the G8 seats??

I can get an awesome deal on a brand new set of G8 leather seats and want to put them into an SV6.

They look the same as the SS seats in photos I have seen.

Does anyone think it will be an issue???

thinking outsid the box here but seing as they are left hand drive cars wont all the seat levers end up facing the centre console making it hard to get to.
I know on my monaro as well that it is not a simple task of swapppng passenger and driver seats as the driver seat has more functions.

cheers, Ill try and rephrase. if you use the US driver seat as a driver seat, the seat control levers will be against the centre console(very difficult to get to) rather then on the outside where they currently are.
Or you use the passenger seat as the drivers seat so the levers are orintated correctly but you will not have the same functions as the drivers seat.

also as an after thought. YES you will have to use th passenger seat as the drivers seat and vice versa as the seats will have air bags in them????

Use the covers and pads off the G8 on your SS frames, if the price is as good as you say.
The only real condition to mention though is whether G8 had seat airbags and whether yours has seat airbags? You must use trims designed to tear apart if fitting to a seat airbag car. If yours doesn't have seat airbags, it doesn't matter whether the G8 ones did or didn't.
