If you are talking about liquid lpg it is 45-50 ltres to fill with a 63 ltre tank.
Sounds like you didn't run it to empty.

If you run it dry (i.e. let the system switch you back to petrol, force it back to LPG and let the system switch you back again to petrol), you should be able to get within the vicinity of 50L.

Running a vapour-phase LPG system dry won't cause any damage at all. The system will sense low tank pressure, beep at you, and then switch itself to petrol seamlessly. Usually the system will leave several litres of LPG in the tank when it first switches to petrol so you can actually switch it back to LPG for a few more kilometres and it will do the same thing again.

So is the lpg system you have liquid or vapour? From what I've read previously a liquid lpg system shouldn't have the tank run to empty but the post above states it is okay for vapour lpg system.

Liquid Injection systems can also be run "dry" but I can't recommend doing it if you want your pump to last. The systems have a safety feature that switches back to petrol leaving enough LPG in the tank (5 litres or so) to keep the pump happy.

I just ran the tank to empty. It took 55liters of lpg and i got 260kms from the tank. So my lpg fuel average is about 21l per 100. On petrol i was getting 18l so considering that i was paying 1.40 for 98 octane and now .49c the savings are awesome.

WOW... You muist be either a lead-foot or always be stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic with those consumption figures.
55L is spot on for your tank selection. 21L/100km on LPG means that you're using only 17% more LPG than you would petrol which is very good. Have you tried giving the engine a boot-full? What happens at the top-end of the rev range?
