View Full Version : VE Cam Issue Now Solved

A big thankyou to Kent and the boys at Hi Torque Performance here on the Goldy. After numerous tuning attempts (by tuners from 2 different shops) to make my small Comp Cam behave like it should, an offer was made by Kent to replace the cam at no cost to me.

So a new Isky cam was intalled and tuned and I must say the difference is remarkable. No surging at lights, no stalling when I change from R to D. No more erratic idling just a smooth note with a very mild lope and nice aggressive acceleration.

So thanks very much Kent for providing the exceptional customer service that your company is renowned for and now I have experienced. And it was all done in your usual cheerful way which made it all even better.

No not yet. They are going to send the cam away to get tested. Thinking a lobe (or two) were not gorund to spec.

must say the isky cams are good. i run one and it dont mis a beat. glad you got it sorted and well done to the guys at HIGH TORQUE. Good see some genuine blokes and shops out there.:goodjob:

Good to hear that you are happy with the car Dan, its taken a while to get right, sounds like you described a big cam that was in there previously.

Good to know there are good people out there even though they've already taken your money! They supplied the cam so you'd think it's good they sorted it out but not everybody's ethics are as good. :xmas:
