Social Groups are at present turned off ..

Social groups have been deleted and deactivated as I investigate the best way to manage this new feature. It may end up replacing the cruises and meets subforums for Validated users as it lends its self more to these kind of social activities. I just have to work out a hierarchy etc.

It will be back but probably not till 2010 :)

Good idea I reckon - once a clear decision is made about them, I reckon they will be much more effective than they were.
Has the potential to increase user participation somewhat

At the moment it is on hold. *Right now I have another project which will be a vBulletin v4 setup and once I have that up and running etc. I will be moving the ls1 forums to v4 as well. *Once this is done I will revisit the community groups.

Yes I am at present gearing up for the v4 upgrade .. It's not a small upgrade and I need to ensure everything is ready to go to avoid any significant outages.. :)
