As i stated in a previous thread im happy to accept rules . rules should at least make sense . comments such as this are offensive to most people, let alone myself a 53 year old non gen z
{This must be the Gen Z thread ... bitch and moan about "I deserve / I'm entitled / it's my right" instead of getting of your arse and fixing the issue.}
The previous thread was closed , my only issue is that no reply was recieved from the forum owner ?
dont worry about counting this post as one of mine as i doubt if i will ever reach 20 posts . i enjoy this forum and would like to continue to . the responses i have witnessed is indicative of of an incestuous forum . we the few who like to observe and not post frequently are of no lesser importance .

Grump,
To start with we are all guests to this forum and all must abide by the rules, and they do appear to be very clearly written.
There are many people on this forum that fall outside the Generation Z that have known hard work and no entitlement (except death and taxes). I joined this forum some time ago for 2 reasons.
1. Help others
2. Learn something
I did find along the way some wonderful people that I really do hope to meet in person someday and have a few cold beers with.
As to the 20 post count thing, it appears that the owners have upped the bar a little. I have witnessed spam posting advertising for commercial interests here in the past along with other nonsense.
I suspect this is part of the driving force behind the owners judgment decisions.
They do encourage participation by members to help one another with car related issues.
As to the thread closures, many things have been posted here before. Use the search button at the top of the page to search for the topic. Threads here that are reposts most likely will be closed when discovered.
Here are some statistics:
Members: 38,966
Threads: 103,965
Posts: 1,329,042
It must be a daunting task for the Owners and Moderators. I would imagine for them it would be much like watching an ankle biter eating paste.
Some days would be humorous and others would make you :bawl:
I would suggest looking outside the quagmire of the "Tar Pit" and start looking at some of the tech threads. This is an excellent example of Tech thread: http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?p=1313595#post1313595 Swingtan did an awesome job on this one.
Cheers,
Steve

First and foremost, Please do not start new threads to restart a debate where the existing threads have been closed. They were closed for a reason.
Regarding the previous thread being closed before the forum owner has replied .... it was closed UNTIL he replies.
When he replies he will either do it in the closed thread for people to read, or post and then reopen it for further discussion.
