Hey guys,

I know this is a bit of a n00b question as there are a million variables, but what sort of 1/4 mile and 0-100 times should i be looking at with my VX?

Info
VX SS II
~330rwkw (N/A 6.3L LS1), 6spd Manual (VX GTS Gearbox/clutch/diff), LSD 3.91:1. ~1700 kgs, Potenza RE0040s R18/235/45

I havnt had a chance to take it to the track yet... Ive used some online calculators, but obviously with this level of power things like traction, diff ratio etc will make a difference.

Is anyone running a similar setup, and what are you times?

Cheers, Errol.

You would be dirty with anything outseide of an 11 mate. Enough power there no drama. Get some slicks, lose some weight do a 10 lol.

in my opinion your first run would be maybe 12.9 or even a 13 on those tyres.

once you master your launch i say 12.40. on slicks or ets

once you get it alright including setup, gear changes and launches i say 11.50. on slicks or ets
now take some weight out and get it alright including setup, gear changes and launches and on slicks or et streets and you have a genuine 330rwkw i say a high 10 is possible.
but you would want to be a gun driver.:)

Mid to high 12s with those tyres.

Edit: Beaten by WLDLS1, what he said.

I'd say you'd be looking at a low 12 on the street tyres if you can get a half decent launch. Don't know how the standard GTS clutch will stand up though.

My VZ 6L SS with ~300rwks's has ran a 12.60 on 19 inch potenzas. With the 3.9's and the extra ponies I reckon you could get a 12.3 out of it on the current tyres.
Takes a bit of practice though. I ran a 12.99 the first time I went out on street tyres. Now I can run fairly consistent 12.7's with average launches.
The most important thing to work on is the launch. Once your off the line it's pretty easy to take it up through the gears. Good luck!!
