gto cats

hi all,

had a wh statesman and the pipes from the headers were squashed going into the cats (idiots at holden).
i now have gto, wondering if this crimping is still there and also can somebody tell me what size pipe is going into cats from headers and what size are the cats?thanks.

reason is i like the sound it currently makes very much, just could be a little deeper and wondering if there is anypoint to getting larger cats.

from memory (and depending on which model GTO you have)the HSV system should hav2 2.25" pipes into and out of the converters, and no they shouldnt have any 'squish' points like the holden systems. youll still get a great result with some metal cats though! It'll make it quite a bit deeper and a little louder. Have a look at sureflo 's sponsor page under ballistic metal cats. they're well worth the spend, trust me.

the ls2 gto has a 2.5 inch cat back system with 3 inch pipes off the cats
