tiger mica on ve's

ive seen 3 ve's going around brisbane with tiger mica. 1 wagon and 2 sedands all ss's. but when i look on the holden website tiga mica is not avalable? would this have to be after market paint jobs?

Side by side they really do look nothing a like (I know what I mean), Wild Fire sends Tiger mica back to the 90's...

Prefer the Tiger, the new one is too pale and flat looking, reminds me of Hackett Gold a bit, doesn't have the depth of Tiger, Fushion is probably the nicest gold they have done.

Wildfire just seems more modern to me.....maybe its just the VE shape affecting my opinion.

I think the Wildfire looks like watered down Tiger Mica... Having said that I'm not sure the more modern shape VE would suit the tiger...

I agree. It makes the car look like a faded old VN compared to tiger.

See it in the metal and it looks nothing at all like either Tiger or Fusion.
Best way to describe it is that both Tiger and Fusion look more "copper", whereas Wildfire is a little more "light orange", with a very fine metallic compared to the other two.
Holden's hero colours are not meant to be loved by most people, just people that want to express their outgoing personality.

They have more of a "wet look" depth to them.
BUT...plenty of people have slagged off Tiger over the years as looking too old, too 90's etc, so they all have cycles. Not everyone loved Tiger when new, and many slagged off Fusion in VZ as being "an old rehash" of VT Tiger as well, so I think we can all see where these colours sit with the "mainstream" market.

I would love to see a VE in that Ford seduce colour, that is one farkin hot colour. Cmon Holden more nicer colours not faded orange or some dog ugly green.

LOL, the wildfire looks like it was painted back in the 90's & has faded terribly.

The tiger looks heaps better IMO, the wildfire looks a bit washed of colour. Bit Bland & cant see why they would call it a hero colour as it does not really jump out at you. Hate to see it once it has started to really fade.
