Hey Guys

Does anyone know if I can purchase one of the little rubber mounts, that are mounted themselves on the underside of the engine cover?
Which then clips onto the engines fuel rail and pushes onto the valve covers..

There are four in total. But I only need one
Ive been to the local holden dealer but he was abit not switched on

Hmm...I didn't use any little rubber mounts when fitting my VZ engine covers to my VE...have I done something wrong here?

Not so sure he wasn't switched on. They aren't in there under VZ!
Had a look at VZ covers today, and all they attach by is a pair of metal clips to the posts off the rocker covers, and the other side has cutouts that "clip" against the fuel rails.

Hmmm, interesting vx-300.
24453627 is listed as a cam cover bush for ZC Vectra and AH Astra 2.2 litre, but if it fits these poolkeeper, there's your answer.

It comes up as "Insulator" on any of the N/A GM websites I've tried.
GM List US$7.79

But this is Australia...:stick:
Good work on supplying the info, as EPC lists only metal clips like VZ 5.7, and the covers I looked at also had metal clips on them.

Davo,

Just as a matter of interest the VE V6 2 piece engine covers Part Nos 92068795 & 92068796 have similar (or same) rubber cup insulators under them.
Left cover 92068795 has 1x cup
Right cover 92068796 has 2x cups

They should be shown as Item 3 on the drawing you can pull up.
What's the part number for those ?

I still dont know if they are different to the VZ V8 rubber cups tho.

OK I just removed one of the rubber cups from under a new VZ V8 6.0
2 piece engine cover.

There are no numbers on it...just this marking > EPDM<
(which is the material compound).

Total height 20mm
Dia at base 32mm, Height of base 6.5mm
Dia of groove on body 20mm, Height of groove 3mm
Dia of tophat 24mm, Height of tophat 11mm

Righto, I spent a few minutes on this one today, and have an answer.
VZ V8 do have the part numbers in EPC4 you gave earlier, but they are not illustrated. Only LS1 clips are illustrated. By clicking on any of the rocker cover options or by clicking on the clips, you lose the ability to obtain the part numbers for the rubber ones. When nothing is clicked on, and after you have scrolled the page down quite a few lines, the part number can be found!
F'n piece of sh!t Snap-On Business Solutions EPC4 system we have been lumped with this year by GM USA....:vpo::vpo::vpo:
To the OP, this will be why your original dealer request could not find them (and me too), so good work by vx-300.
