Hi all
Only new on here and also new to the LS1 scene.
I have myself a 1974 Toyota Celica which was my first car and has had a heap of different builds through out the past 10 years.
These days, it is a dedicated track car which is why I decided to go with a LS1 because there is no way I could of kept it registered due to the capacity of the Ls1. At the moment, the LS1 conversion isnt finished. Still got wiring to go and the exhaust.

Anyway, I'll throw up a few pics of the different combo's I've gone through and later I'll list all the chassis/brake/suspension/driveline details when I have some time.

You can see why they are called hairdressers cars when they attract pink shirt dudes

Thats all I have time for now, I'm off to a XMAS party. I'll add some details later on to each of the photos so you know whats going on. I've got some more up to date photos of the LS1 install as well, just got to upload them of the camera.

Fantastic idea - great looking car too - always has been.

I did a wee tour of duty in Cyprus a few years back and there is a Toyota dealership inside the buffer-zone at Nicosia/Lefkosia where to this day, has a basement full of brand new 1974 Toyota's including a few Celicas like yours - God knows what they would be worth nowadays!

Please keep us informed of your build's progress.

Cheers, TB

Here is an old video from Wakefield where I pulled over to let 2 GTR's through (1 GTR being ex Gibson Motorsport) but then changed my mind and thought I'd have some fun :jester:
