Hi Everyone
At the moment, we have a mates AU II utility that has been having clutch trouble, with a constant screeching when the car was running and being driven. We took the gearbox and cluch out and found the throwout / release bearing was siezed, and the rollers out of the spigot / pilot bearing in the flywheel fell out as we removed the clutch.
Which then led to this -

Should the end of the input shaft look like that, with the groove in the centre? or should it just be a smooth shaft. The groove looks too good for it to be gouged in there by the roller bearing. The other 2 marks appear to have been caused by the bearing.
It is a Borg warner / Tremec T5 transmission.
