G'day

Got a small dent in the side of my ute where some clown opened their door onto it.... luckily no paint damage though, just a 10cm dent.

Was planning to take the tub liner out so I can knock it back out - anybody got any experience with removing tubliners from VE utes?

Any info would be great

Cheers.

unless you know how to push dents out properly ,your only going to cause more damage.
to remove the liner ,just unscrew the tie down brackets, lift the liner up in the middle at the rear ,this will allow you to get the sides out and the just stand it up from the back.as i said if you carnt work out how to remove the liner ,dont even try to fix the dent,,you can reach most of the rear section just by removing the rear inspection panels ,if its foward there are inspection panels behind the trim in the cabin.

There are access holes in the ute - these are pictures from when my tub liner was out (10min or so job).
