Has anyboady experienced their climate control and bluetooth cutting out before in their SSV's?

Last weekend I drove down to the Fremantle, everything was working fine, then I have switched the car off, gone into the shops and when I came back and started the car the Climate Was completely dead. It wouldnt turn on at all. The Outside temp wasnt registering either.

Not only was it the Air Con that wasnt working but the cars bluetooth wasnt connecting either.

However later that day I took the car for another drive and low and behold......it was working again like nothing happened.

I will be taking the car to Holden in a couple of weeks regarding an air cond seal recall anyway so I will quiz them on it and get back to everyone incase somone else has had a similar problem.

Mine has done it 2 or 3 times now, just switched it off, restarted it and all was fine. I figured it's no point taking it to holden to get them to look at it coz if it aint broken at the time you go in there, they can't fix it.:vpo:

I have had this and it seems to be related to the battery voltage from what I guessed, as when I start and the lights are on auto, the first start tended to have this happen. When I restarted straight away again it was fine.

Problem has gone away now, but thats what i have found.

On Bluetooth, I had the module changed a while back, all good now.

My ute has done it a couple of times in the 18 or so months of ownership. All I did to fix it was turn car off, remove key, lock then unlock car and fire it up again - all good. Don't think I'll bother Holden unless it starts doing it on a more regular basis.

Mine has done it once. The fan was working fine but the AC wasn't. Switched off the climate while driving then waited a few seconds and switched it back on and was working fine. Haven't had any dramas since.

Mine has done it to me once but only after I washed and polished the car with the headlights on..

A couple of minutes after starting the car a warning came up on the centre screen saying battery saver mode (or somthing similar), then the bluetooth, climate and a few other luxury items cut out.

Once it charged up they all came back before I got home..

Hi Guys

Yes I have also had this issue - the whoe head unit seemed to just stop working - I think I had turned off AC then went to turn it back on, and nothing .. the whole screen went blank. After a while tho I just hit the button to try and turn the unit back on again, and presto - like nothing had ever gone wrong.

I am having more regular issues with the AC tho - on heavy accelleration, mine seems to cut out ... but sometimes the AC fails to come on, even when you select AC OFF and then AC On.... anyone else had this problem?

A post above mentioned a recall re air con seals? Can anyone shed any more light on this? Perhaps the seal is failing, the reason it cuts out all the time??

Thoughts appreciated as always,

TEK

Mine doesn't cut out under acceleration it just doesnt work on start up at all, so i cant help you out there. But I did get a recall letter from Holden regarding a seal somewhere in the AC system which seems to be an issue. Im not sure if it is the sealant used which isn't up to scratch or if there is an actual seal (gasket) which is failing. I dont have the letter on me at the moment with all the details but I will post up more info when I get home.

From what I have read from other members it is mainly MY9.5 model vehicles. I think.
