T56 recondition price

Hey, i really gotta get my gearbox fixed soon, i know the main bearing is on it's last legs and the synchro's have seen better day, not sure how the rest is. anyway i wanna know what sort of money im gonna be forkin out so if anyone has had they're t56 recond lately it would be appriciated if you could let us know what ya got done and what ya paid. cheers

The general option I have is its easier and a better option to replace it than repair it. For 2850 for a new unit opposed to say a 3k build for a repair jobbie then the new unit wins every time. The trouble is the not knowing what actual damage is done to the box. The tr6060 would be the best option but I am unsure if it will bolt straight up or not. Maybe oe of the sponsors or gearbox guru's could add some information regarding the fittment of the tr6060 to the vt-vz model.
