Happy new year
My first post, can any one help my ve ss has a fault with the horn and indicators> first the engine warning light came on as over heating. I let it sit for 5 mins and it returned back to normal (clearly not hot) as I put on the turn signal the horn got stuck at half volume and turn signal sped up . Took it to holden they had it all day and the head machanic said he had never seen this before. they had the car all day and said sorry we don't have a clue just rebook it in next year :flipoff: To hard basket or just don't care :vpo:

If it was to hard or dont care why would he of said book it in next year, I would be assuming it would be so they could spend a bit more time sussing it out. Do u think they are going to put a mechanic on it all day to try and find the fault. Go take to an independant mechanic and see what they say. Would u be happy to pay if a mechanic worked on it all day and it wasnt covered under warranty

Could be a bad earth. Symptoms are horn and indicators going off, thermos not working properly (this could be why it has overheated).
Have you made any modifications that required touching the earthing plate near the airbox?

Ahh...!!! I see the the problem!!!
They should have got the auto electrical mechanic to look at it instead!
He is the guy that speciallizes in doing auto electrical jobs!
The "head mechanic" only speciallizes in doing head jobs!
