VZ SS Fuel question

Hi guy's, I know this sort of question has been asked before and I know there are some that will start saying you dont buy an SS if your worried about fuel.

So now that we have all that out of the way, could people that have or had a VZ SS let me know roughly how many kms on average they are getting from a tank of fuel.

If you need more info to be able to comment, say a 55L fill, running it untill the low fuel warning comes on. 4 speed auto. I'm looking a more round town driving than hwy, but all info welcome.

I'd say stock, if anything a Cat back exhaust.

got a stock vz ss at the moment.

i mainly do local/city driving and do around 17.5L per 100km.(thats with being a little silly on the gas aswell)

average wise with a full tank....id say its around the 350km mark for full tank.

mate's also got the same car with small cam/heads/exhaust etc....its pretty much the same fuel consumption and does around 270-300km mark for a full tank.

350?? i get that out of mine now , and its nowgot big cammed ls3 , my old ls1 enigine stock use to get me around the 450.. it use to sit around the 13.8-mid14l mark..

11.5 - 14.0 usually on my ute, i fill it when it gets to a quarter and only get about 250 - 300ks out of it.

Are we talking only the 5.7L or 6L as well???

My ute is shit on fuel. I wouldn't consider myself to be heavy footed either.

On a normal tank i average about 17L/100km so i get about 330km to a tank but with an avg. speed of only low to mid 30s.

I havent reset it in 1000km now and my avg is about 15.8L/100km...

Mafless tuned, full exhaust, OTR, BP98 fuel.

DO about 80k a day mostly highway average around 11ltr/100k so get around 500 -550 a tank.

Cat back the only mod.

Seems to be pretty much the same as the rest of you.

17L/100 around town but gets as low as 8.7L/100 on Hwy with cruise set at100Klm

Usually fill up around the 300k mark, 98 V Power

usual mods, tow a trailer 430-450, no trailer easy 500, 550- 600 highway use.

6L, smallish cam, zorst, mafless, 6 speed and I generally average 14L/100.
Generally get around 400 til the low fuel alarm, but it only takes around 50L if I fill it up then.

5.7 Crewman,98 caltex OTRCAI mafless tune ,full exhaust, 3:9 diff gears std rims tyers.
i used to get av of 11l/100km hwy ( set the cruise and it got down to 9l/100km:)) town stuff goes up to 14l/100km. for some reason only after i had it in the workshop for other issues non related the fuel consumption has soared up to around 17l/100km on the hwy. ( filling up 3 times a week now :vpo:)
