for the running gear and engine...how much should he be looking at paying at the auctions?

is the engine going to be fine pretty big hit
price u see them on ebay all the time from about 9-14k but not sure with this one prob near the same

Mine was probably just as bad as that and they fixed it... :flipoff:

They said though, that it wouldnt be written off as they would only get $8k for it at the auctions for a sedan. So I wouldnt pay anymore than $10k at the limit.

My thinking is similar to the other guys ... $8-11k is about the right figure.
I like how you get the bonnet included , in the tray ! Those front BMW style chassis rails are impressive too.
