We are looking at a house that has an internal garage height of 3.3m. Does anyone know if this would be enough to get a hoist in, to be able to work on the avalanche or tourer at a reasonable height. We have not bought a hoist yet, & i am sure there would be a few models that could use less height clearance??

how high is the avalanche? how tall are you?

avalanche 1.6 high you 1.8 tall equals 3.4 needed!

gives you an idea of what height you need.

Yeah , i was thinking that. Even if i had to crouch a bit i wouldnt mind, it certainly beats being on your back underneath it.

Plus adjust the add-on of the height of a car to be based on an open bonnet as most are when on a hoist. Plus clearance for overhead lights, etc

Seedyrom while you're at it, What is that grey stuff painted on your concrete floor? (did you paint it yourself?)
Would you recommend it to anyone who is looking to paint their floor?
Is it easy to clean up oil spills etc?

Sorry to go off topic. :)
