Update on our daughter

As some of you know(and contributed) we are fundraising for our daughter Jayda who has PHACE Syndrome.Well since I last posted much has happened.We have raised over $25 000 and on the 27th of this month we depart for Houston,TEXAS where Jayda will have a MRI/MRA and see the top neurologist @ TEXAS CHILDRENS HOSPITAL,she will also see Dr Metry who is one of the top dermatologists in the U.S.She is one of the co-authors on the new protocols for treatment of PHACE Syndrome.Jayda's last MRI/MRA in november showed that she has a complete blockage of her basilar artery,her chance of a stroke is now very high.I would like to thank W.A. CHARITY DIRECT who contributed over $4000 for our flights,these guys are a relatively small charity bit they have Danny Green as their patron.Thanks also to GIBBONS HOLDEN and PRO AUTO.Cally @ PRO AUTO has been a huge supporter of Jayda's PHACE Journey.There are many,many more that have supported us to. visit jaydasphacejourney @ blogspot

All the best for the trip. It is one thing for bad stuff medically to happen to ourselves or other adults, but when it involves the kiddies, it makes all the more difficult to deal with. I hate when little things go wrong with my boys (one has asthma, other has glue ear and is on his third set of grommets at age 3) so I can only imagine what you guys are going through.
