Whitsunday / Mackay Region Roll Call / Check in

hello Guys & Gals

was just wanting to know how many Whitsunday & Mackay & even north like Bowen Etc people we have on this forum.

looking at maybe having a get together or even a rally trip like what you see getting organised for those Southerners amoungst us.

the other great thing is that we will also get to know who we can turn to for some localised advise regarding Tunes & mods etc.

Being in Airlie Beach certainly has it's bonuses but one that certainly isn't is that we dont have any performance shops anywhere near me that I can pop on into to have a chin wag.

you Sothern Dwellers certainly are lucky as its a long drive for me to get to Chev's or Morano's & any of the other fine performance guys & I for one am certainly very green with envy.
I'd love to stick a lumpy cam in my ute but wouldnt even know where or who to begin with.

the other reason for my suggested roll call is that a certain place that I work, I quite often see some tough Sedans & utes who are of the QLD origin & quite often I see them a few times over a few Months so I assume you are local. Would be great to get to know some of you.

so If you are from the above area & dont mind checking in that would be great.

Mods, I have checked if this has been done before for my area but came up clean on the whole search idea so if it has been then please kick me in the a55 & point me in the right direction

I'm in Sydney but have been to Airlie several times over the last few years ... my parents bought a couple of units at "Waters Edge" when it was built, so I make use of the free accommodation when possible. I love Airlie.

Can't say I've ever driven up there though ... bit too far with the kids.

yes airlie is a great place to visit dont no if i could live there. I love taking my jetski up there and cruising the waters
