Step 1: put new tyres on old 18" rims
Step 2: Enter burnout comp on WAW.
Step 3: Rev lots and drop the clutch in 2nd/3rd. (started in 3rd but it was too grippy and car wanted to take off)

Enjoy, I know i did for my first time in the "Snake Pit".:)

(what happened to the embed youtube video button)

May have to look into locking off the rear brakes for the next trip as i got her quite hot by holding it on the brake as i left. Win for PWR Radiator!

Had a small fire on the rear rhs and down near the bottom of the rhs extractor, but no damage in either case.

Was also reading between 91~98 degree intake temps after the burnout.

Yeah. 9pm every week.

Technically i won the burnout comp but the other car blew the radiator and seeing as i won 3rd place in the reaction comp with a .0004 they gave it to vn shitter.

no loss to me, i had my fun. been watching the DV version of the video since i got home.

Just watched it for a second time :D Good effort mate. Just gotta be on the brake more to get a bit more control of the steering, otherwise if you turn the wheel the car just keeps on spinning

Much better than anything I could manage!

problem with using the brakes is it overheats the car quicker and slows rear wheels down.

ideally need to lock off the rear brakes.

probably just put some fittings in the rear lines to block the fluid.

Pics are online now. (I need a shave)

clutch & throttle control with the manuals. i try not to go wot in 1st gear on street based tyres until i have decent momentum otherwise i find it will just light up the rear end.

Stock clutch should be okay for some nice soft launches, just pretend your at a set of lights and trying to take off really quick with out spinning the wheels (you will keep the clutch engaged a couple tenth's longer than just releasing it fully), sometimes the strip is a little slippery than the street and sometimes it's grippy as hell so if you bog down on your first run just use the clutch a little more on the next run to keep the revs up.

try about a 1200rpm start. if it's an auto, just stomp the pedal on the 2nd yellow and hope you get traction.

Love your work mate! That pit looks so small on camera, I can only imagine how close the walls seem when you are in the car with smoke obscuring your vision.
