Hi All,

I am doing an Eastern Creek Twilight evening in a couple of weeks time with a whole bunch of work friends.
My boss picks up his new R36 VW Wagon tomorrow, and is going to be bringing it along.

Is there anything he should watch out for when taking a new car out on a track? Car will prob have around 2000km's on it when it hits the track.

Any advice appreciated..

Cheers
Chris

Oil change at a minimum (assuming it's still got the original stuff in it).

Maximum recommended tyre pressure (check the placard) if using the street tyres.

Watch out for walls, and other cars. They're the main things to watch out for.

Not sure how much track experience or knowledge you have, so ignore this if you already know, but when you come in off the track, DO NOT put on the handbrake. It will fk your the disks and pads, and is almost certain to boil and split the brake fluid.
