ONLINE gamers are being asked to fight an interstellar war to raise money for Haiti while food riots were predicted to erupt by Friday if aid was not delivered to needy people.

Bungie, developer of the first-person shooter video game Halo 3, has offered to donate $US100 ($110) to earthquake relief for every 1000 gamers that play the game online wearing a special heart-shaped emblem on their virtual sleeves next week.

They will donate a maximum of $84,764 and are also selling t-shirts with 100 per cent of profits to go to American Red Cross. Profits from their online store will also go to the relief campaign.

Anyone who is playing Halo online lets do this thing to help out!
