Here we have my "tuff truck". Its a 1989 GQ Patrol 4.2L Petrol.

Selling to upgrade to a newer one as we seem to be driving this more than we anticipated. Has current beach pass for Stockton Beach and pulled out the odd Land Rover 3 Series bogged....

Many things changed or replaced in the last fews years:

clutch, brake cylinder, radiator hoses, alternator, plugs, some brake components, front diff, new sport steering wheel, CD player and speakers, extra fuel tank, additional gauges etc..

Dynoed two weeks ago and makes excellent power.

I have now removed the centre set of spotties to put on the new one.

Am flexible on price so if you are after a good manual GQ, this is the car for you.

I drove heaps of newer cars including GU's, Prado's (older ones) and Jackeroo's (petrol/diesel) and they dont go half as well as this model. I now know why they are such sought after cars.

I had to buy a nice fast 4wd to get the same feel as I do with the GQ! Go figure....
