Its the Minister for everythings birthday coming up and its a pretty special day.... and I want to get her a nice pair of Diamond Earrings.... I am looking to spend probably somewhere between 2 and 4k on them, but obviously want the best of the 4 C's or my coin...does anyone have any idea on where to get the best and or advice on where to start... The Michael Hill's and chain stores of the world I am not interested in really, why pay for their rent and advertising.....

Check out some of the smaller jewellers in the city, there is one in Little Collins St where I had my fiance's engagement ring custom made.

It's called St Petersburg Gallery.

John MacAleer in Melton makes hand made Jewellery and specialises in one off peices.
Based out in the suburbs you will probably find him very competitive on price.

Hi

I know their is a jewellery store in Nepean Hwy in Chelsea, Victoria that has been operating for over 20 years and is closing down in about 3 weeks time, they currently have around 50% off everything and are clearing all stock out.

Perhaps if you called them they may be able to assist you? They are closing as they are retiring.

Sorry I don't know the name of the shop.

regards,

Richard
