What to do in 1.5 days in Sydney CBD

in a few weeks we will be in sydney CBD for a day and a half and need something to do... not fussed with opera etc and will probably go to Taronga for half a day on the way back through...
got a harbour cocktail cruise booked for one arvo just to get the ball rolling but what else is unmissable in terms of pubs or cocktail bars and clubs etc..

We're staying at the Marriot near Circular Quay and darling harbour.. where are most of the good bars and restaurants?

also are there any good reputable jewellers within the CBD that people can recommend? not a zamels type place though

IMO for a nice relaxing day at toronga zoo you will need a full day , theres also sydney aquariam

Agree, Taronga needs a good day in order for you to see everything properly... The aquarium can be done in a couple of hours... :)

thanks guys, plenty on offer there for the daytime stuff !! might adjust our trip so theres another day in the city to do taronga properly..

Rocks, Lady Maquaries chair, Catch the ferry to Manly & view the HB & Opera house if that fancies you. visit the Zoo then go to the Casino & maybe win back what the frills cost ya.

hahah we've actually got free flights to sydney this weekend as well from work and were almost thinking of going anyway for a laugh..

we'd be hoping the small percentage of lezzos that are actually young and hot like porn movies instead of truckies would happen to be drinking in the same bar as us haha..
