Extended Warranty.

Does or did Holden have an extended warranty that is not dealer supplied. When i purchased my SS in Dec 2008 i believed that Holden had one as an option. I requested this specifically asking for a Holden extended not a dealer extended warranty. I find out recently that the dealer has sold me their extended. I have complained about this and they want nothing to do with me unless they get to exclusivly service my car.

What i need to know is did Holden have their own extended warranty.

I tried to get the holden x tended warranty and they said they only had the aftermarket one through the Holden dealers. Which ment servicing only through the holden dealer which was a crazy price.Seems that warranty only covered a certain amount on different components and you had to pay the balance. So are you saying there is a holden backed full warranty that covers all components regardless of price?????:confused:

yes holden have an 2 year extended full warranty that can be purchased up until a day before the original 3 year warranty expires.
