Thanks to a recent back injury and surgery pending, my Torana has to go. It has sat in storage for close to 10 years and just as I was just getting around to stripping it down and sanding for a respray, my back went (that's why its super ugly at the moment). Would suit a panel beater or someone wanting to do a small project, mechanically it is A1. Great for a circuit car and if that was your intention I would highly recommend doing a replica colour scheme from an actual 70's Bathurst car (not the typical Brocky replica but something a little unique would raise its value considerably in the crazy Aussie Muscle car scene). The car was registered with a 308 in it for a few years prior to becoming a track car, so I can’t see any reason (after some resto work) why it wouldn’t be registerable again.

Engine: A genuine 400hp @ 6500rpm 308 with about 3000km on it. All port matched and balanced with short skirt flat top pistons, hydraulic cam, stainless valves (runs unleaded), roller rockers, oil cooler and twin filter setup, rebuilt 800 CFM Rotchester carby built by the same bloke who did the carbies for the Commodore cup cars. Custom made baffled 7L sump with spring loaded gates and relocated pick up, never loses pressure. Big radiator with twin thermos. Tri-Y 1 3/4 primary headers into twin 3"collectors and a single exit bellmouth muffler (as used at Bathurst). Spare set of 1 7/8 primary heat wrapped tri-y's too.

Gearbox: Rebuilt top loader gearbox, Indy shifter and new clutch, driven onto and off trailers only as storage locations changed. 3km on both, yes 3 not 3000.
Body: Zero structural rust and any superficial stuff has been cut out and plates will be welded in prior to pick up. All flares and spare ones included, front and rear bars are in good nick too.
Interior: Stripped with Sparco seat and 4 point harness, dash and door trims in excellent condition (dash pad not even cracked), 6 Point Alloy (old Andra) bolt in cage. Silver faced Autometer monster tach with shift light and oil pressure and water temp guages. Everything works: rear demister and heater fan, all lights & indicators, even the horn works too.

Brakes: Lockhead 4 spot calipers (same as used at Bathurst I am told) & HQ rotors up front. HQ Stud pattern rear drum brakes rebuilt just prior to storage and about 10km on them.
Suspension: King Springs and Bilstein shocks, big front sway bar (can't bend down to measure it, also a spare reverse mount sway bar.
Wheels: 4 x 14” Hotwires with A008's (1 track day in them, maybe) plus 4 x 15” x 8.5 custom made chaser rims with Yokohama A032R's (60% tread).

Alot more good stuff in the thing than I can remember, although I do remember spending around $30,000 on it after buying it in the 1st place.
