commodore K frames do vary VB-VK are the same and has (power steering ) multiple lines , The VL-VS has a different Rack with only 2 lines rear facing that would give better clearance - particularly with a LS1 conv

I have just done it in my vh you can use the vh one with power steering i looked at trying to get hold of a vl to vs v8 k frame but was hard to find one but if you can get one that is the way to go you will need to put a matching rack in it as well the steering colum will fit up to the rack if you need any help or just to pick my brain please ask good luck with it mate

I'm using a VN V6 crossmember and rack with VL intermediate steering shaft on my VK LS1 conversion, there is a starter relocation and engine mount kit available over here to suit.

Thanks for the info guys, I picked up a VL V8 Kframe on ebay for $35, it's on its way to me now :)

I did a bit of research on the different frames (tinyyy bit of research) and decided VL would work just fine. (I think)
