I came across this set and like the idea over the genuine HSV ones as i can get blue faced gauges to match the dash.
JHP Triple gauge, option 2 (http://www.jhp.com.au/img/products/interiors/gauge_pods/Style%202%20option%202%20red-h.jpg?imagealt=)

Has anyone installed this package by any chance?
Whats it like?
Are VDO gauges any good?

yeah im not a fan of the double hump, but jhp made that themselves.... i figure this would be ok because its VDO gear and genuine trim.

Unless i get the genuine trim and fine 52mm guages to fit, but then iv got to find blue faced, white dialed guages and integrate them into the wiring etc

The jhp are ok. The colors look good. They are about $1100 a set. Depending on what my number you have you might require an oil presure sender. I have hsv gauges ang am on the process of getting them colored. I am trying to find dome one who will do them. Because of the back lit they have to be layered. Hopefully I am seeing someone on mon or tues who says than can do it. I have hsv gauges and lower housing for sale pm me if your interested. Cheers damo.

apparently it comes with a pressure/temp sender and adapter, is that what you mean?

I think so. A mate of mine just had them done and he needed a sender. Not 100% sure but I know his ssv onle had the two atari gauges.

I sent JHP a email about their gauges and this was their resonse.

The HSV triple pod uses a 52mm standard gauge, so you can use Autometer / VDO or other aftermarket gauges of this size. If you purchase the JHP gauges we have a number of different colour dial facia and also have the option of either red or white illumination.
The gauges are not available in Australia without HSV dash kit.

Yeah iv emailed them with several questions aswell, i'll post the answers for anyone whos interested once they reply.

Did you end up getting it bonners?
I'd be inclined to go with the gauges they provide, given i can get them to match my dash and from what i've read VDO gauges are a pretty reputable brand.

No. I'll explain what I am doing

I recently bought a HSV gauge pod. No gauges. This suited me becuase it meant I could put whatever gauges I liked in. I also only paid $70 for the pod. The pod itself and all the ancillary trim I will buy will be sent to my painter for a matte black paint job.

I really want to buy the Glowshift gauges but I just cant bring myself to buy imperial gauges. I would prefer straight Autometer gauges but I still need to think of the interior look and those Glowshift ones look great. Autometer make a similar one (Nexus), as do Defi but I can buy three Glowshift ones and still only just have one of the other two brands. They also need a special module etc etc. I dont mind those Aeroforce gauges but they kind of defeat the purpoe because I want analogue gauges not digital. They are also the same price as the Autometer

That would probably be correct.

From what I understood when speaking to JHP was that this setup was actually produced for the American market
