I have got a VE Walkenshaw scoop. But what suggestions or how have people sorted out the problem of the water that will get trapped by the scoop.
If i drill holes in my bonnet it will drip all over the motor. If I dont it will sit under the scoop and rust my bonnet out.

Really need to come up with a better way.

They only other option is to seal the grill perspex or similar so water cant get in there. But then in winter it will just fill up......

Any ideas?????????

obviously its getting screwed down 'yes'

so when you put the adhesive all arouond the scoop when sticking it down, leave a few gaps down the bottom of the scoop so its not 100% sealed to the bonnet, that way the water can still run out "ontop" of the bonnet :)

It tells you in the instructions that when you apply the sealant you should leave a 150mm section at the centre front so the water can drain out..
