Hi Guys,

Looking for a high flow air filter, however have been told by several places that K&N and Lukey (the two I had used on prior vehicles) are not available for WM V8. What are you guys using and what would you recommend? My car is stock in terms of motor, and I don't have any plans to do anything else to it, but replacing the stock filter on my prior two Caprice's seemed to result in a lot better up and go, so was hoping to do it on the new one.

Appreciate your help.

Most people on here use OTRCAIs (over the radiator cold air intakes). Some require that you have a mafless tune but most don't. Some look very factory eg. the matt black DUS Shep has on his Maloo and also the new VCM one, plus others.

They are much better bang for buck than a pod filter etc eg. VCM is claiming gains of up to 30rwkw with theirs.

Sounds like he's only wanting to spend minimal and not really interested in max power. As said above try and stretch the budget and get an OTR that will suit the MAF, you will then have your high flow air filter but it will be alot bigger and take alot more air due to it's placement. You should see a good improvement over your past set ups. I like the look of the VCM OTR but they were not around when i got mine.
