I know this might sound weird and I may get laughed at but honestly i have no idea?
I have a SSV ute that needs a new wheel as some slight stitching is coming off and also have a 1995 Vitara as a runabout with the worst steering wheel on the planet. Just wondering if I could put the ute wheel on the Suzuki without too much drama? The ute wheel is still perfect minus one little bit (they are doing it under warrenty so maybe they need the wheel to send back to holden??)
Thanks

I think they will keep the steering wheel regardless but you would need some kind of custom steering wheel boss kit adapter. Even then it would be a difficult proposition.

if it's being done under warranty, I'd go pretty hard at them for a loan car while yours is off the road.

Any part replaced under warranty cannot be reclaimed by the owner of car, tried this back in 2002 with a set of rotors off the R8.
Dont know if it would fit the swift but would look interesting

Bit of Duct tape will hold it on.
If it moves and it shouldnt, Duct tape it. If it doesnt move and it should, CRC it.

How long do you think they're going to take to swap a steering wheel?

If its replaced under warranty you wont get your old one back. The dealer has to store all warranty replaced parts in case Holden wants to inspect them.

Yeah but if they are replacing it under warrenty might as well let them.

Yeah would look great but looks like a no go.

Yeah they reckon it will be done in a day. Just have to work out a day to get it done as i am 250ks from the nearest Holden dealer which is a bit hard.

I just had my steering wheel in my ssv replaced under warranty as the leather started to "pop" out, it took em abit over an hour to swap em over so you wont need a loan car.
