not from holden i assume??

call around get some prices holden, obrians.. spare parts places. etc etc.

guess if you ask here, someone whom has already done this can suggest where to go, and possibly where NOT to go.

good luck pal

Pity ya not in melbourne i know a couple of guys that have their own windscreen business. Will probably be around the $150 to $200 mark

I have read a few reports on bad installations on windscreens, things like the paint behind the screens being damaged on removal of the old screen, ie scratched and not re primed and rust has then began to form under the screen, might not notice it for a few years but a bit late then, I would ask if they clean and prime any bare areas prior to fitting the new screen.
It is important that they use the right adhesives as well, as the screen and its bond form part of the strength and integrity of the cars body. So cheapest may not be the best, might just pay to ask a few questions before deciding.

Yeah what they said.......i had a mate get a windscreen done by a reputable (supposedly) mob, starting to rain and water pissed in through the screen. Upon the return of the installer he promptly said "oh, i forgot to seal it, i'll do that now":flipoff:

Needless to say he wasn't happy!!!

Autoglass $150 Windscreens (http://www.autoglass.com.au/?gclid=CPzcuM_fgqECFcctpAodNBjpvA)

Used this mob a couple of times, was pretty good for the money.

melbourneians beware, i heard around the traps that some installers put the prices up after the big storms we had cause they knew a fair bit of business was coming.......

Pay to shop around and watch out for the dodgy blokes.

I'll find out who my mech uses and post it up.....

I just replaced one on a VY Clubbie...same screen.

O'O'O' O'briens wanted $380.

Got it done by another local mob (great job) for $180.

I'll always go the 1 free windscreen each year with GIO.
Its a good safeguard for those sticky situations
