hi. wondering if a sedan hayman reece type of towbar will fit my wifes 2002 monaro? thanks grumpy

yes it will, though they will have to cut a hole in your bumper

Are you sure? I mean, the boot length is remarkably different... I know different bars have different mounting styles, eg, some are horizontal across the width of the car, but usually HR bars run the length of the boot to the diff / axle tunnel, which of course is different.

Hi Grumpy, not sure about that but have a look at this thread about Monaro tow bars (http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=56905).

If 1200kg capacity is enough I highly recommend the Boronia model listed there, no cutting involved & perfect for light stuff like bikes. Here's a pic:

yep was gonig to post the same thing these guys are in melborne and awsome to deal with
actually this picture was what swayed me to buy the boronia bar :goodjob:

and no a sedan bar will not fit a monaro see link
