Couldn't find on here anyone saying how they cut there shroud to fit around an OTR other then there installer doing it.
Any ideas on how to do fairly neat and accurate would be appretiated. Will be using pinchweld once cut to cover edge
LOL.. Improvise.. User a stanley knife or something and then go to somewhere like Clarke Rubber and get some of that plastic edging stuff to put around the sharp cut edge to make it nice and neat.. What kind of OTR is it?

when i did mine i used an 4" angle grinder and jig saw thats all i had lol just kept cutting checking marking etc to suit the OTR shape. Then clark rubber for some black pinch weld to tidy up the edges. came up pretty good. biggest tip is to not take too much at one time when you are getting close as you will stuff it and it will look shit.

Thats me to a "T" nice slow steady, almost finished then get impatient and it all goes bad.
Are the shrouds on the VZ SS and VY HSV/SS the same as the VZ HSV. As i wouldn't mind getting a spare just in case i need to go back to stock.

The VZ and VY SS shroud are slightly different. They're only about $50 from Holden so not a big deal if you need one down the track.

Interested to know what brand you are using?
When I ran a Ziggy the shroud was cut to suit and trimmed with pinch weld.
With the current Ramjet I've managed to trim the underside of the shroud and refit it so that it covers the top of the Ramjet: ie no cutting of shroud and looks almost standard other than a slight bulge in centre where it goes over the Ramjet.

I used a dremel when i did mine on the wagon, easy to maneuver, then i trimmed any bits i missed with a fresh sharp stanley blade....

Looks similar to my old Ziggy, which means that there is a bit of trimming involved.

You can get a knock off dremel from Trade Tools for under $50 with all the go fast bits.
A real dremel is about $120 odd?

Yep...Dremel.
I used a jigsaw for mine and it was hopeless, ended up having to do most of it with a stanley knife, which took ages and wasnt very accurate. luckily the pinch weld covers that up. go the dremel IMO.
