Engine knocking sometimes

My 6l, sometimes knocks a little bit, but not when cold, when its warm, but it comes and goes it isnt a constant noise i think it maybe a rocker or something else, hopefully not piston slap, how can you diagnose if you have a faulty rocker or have piston slap or something like that?

Any ideas?
