VE SSV tyre advice please

I have the chance to buy OEM Michelin 245/40-19 pilot sport 2 tyres for $350 each. My questions are:

1) Are they as good as the Bridgestone RE050 OEM tyres?
2) Is $350 fitted and balanced a good price
3) Can new tyres be shelved and saved for long periods and used later?

Go to Tyrepower and pick up the RE050A's for $315 fitted...

having driven on both personally i prefer the michelins... seem to have more grip.
