As we now have a grandson, I've fitted a car seat into our everyday shopping car, our VX wagon.

Now I want to fit a cargo barrier to stop ANYTHING clocking the little guy on the noggin!!! So I bought a genuine Holden barrier off ebay. Got the Holden part number 92177300 on the certification plate.

Next I went to the Holden dealer and ordered a genuine bolt kit for it. Tried to give him the barrier number but he brushed that away saying they are all the same. Gave me part number 92140083.

Now, I'm NOT convinced that this is the right kit part set for my barrier. The instructions say it is for barrier 92140082, 92047960.

I'm sure the bolt kit suits my car but can anyone identify what the barrier is supposed to fit????

Hope someone can help out on this? Thanks.

We've had this before. Can't recall the part number barrier it was, but it was one of the earlier ones.
EPC tells us that the small parts kits supercede to the later one, but if it isn't the right one, the only solution was to hunt through the stock locator for someone with an old part number kit (if any are left anywhere).
The other possible option for you is to contact Kentone Distributors in Croydon, as they do installs of cargo barriers, and should be able to help you with parts.

Think we have this sorted out. My barrier is apparently ex-Telstra or similar but the bolt kit will fit it OK.

I've decided to get the Holden Dealer to fit it!!:goodjob:

Thanks for the input.
