We've finally convinced Mick to let us start doctoring his VE GTS.
So far , the mods consist of a JTG liquid LPG conversion and lowered springs - that's it , it hasn't even been tuned (Mick's getting old)

Step 1 : we're ditching the exhaust and fitting a 2.5" HM Headers "cat back" system , we want to first see what we can get out of the stock GTS headers & cats.

Inside of rear tyres look a bit worn . Is that common for the later models that are lowered ?

Just the camera angle and the type of tyre- they are perfect.

I'm loving my car, my boys fitted a HM 3 inch exhaust system, set of HM extractors and a APS air box.
My main man Luis Maffless tuned it using the LPG os from EFILive making an unbelievable 304 RWKW's on gas and 285 RWKW's on Petrol.
I didn't think i would ever say this but LPG is the new race fuel when injected as a liquid:burnout: and no its not this gas :nos:
Plus the drove to Sydney a week ago only cost me $85 dollars on gas.
Good job boys:goodjob:
What should i get them to do next hmmmmm:nyuk:

Beat me to it Mick...
We changed our minds regarding the exhaust ( read as couldn't be buggered putting one on , then taking it off again !) so we went straight to the HM 3" system with the inch and 7/8' 4 into 1's.
Mafless ( of course ) with the EFI Live OS.
Spent today fidgeting with the LPG , mainly with spark timing and made some very interesting discoveries . Shep ,when you read this - you're next !
Will get some pics and dyno sheets up tomorrow if I get a chance.

Sounds good guys, keep the info coming on the LPG, I haven't entirely written off the idea of converting mine yet. Just need to wait to see if E85 ever comes to Perth because I'd be more likely to go to that to retain the boot space. Information is power though :)

Ok, cam next.
Had a good chat with Clive (clive cams) today and we have come up with a very spesh cam for my GTS.
This will be cam only for now....
Post dyno results soon.
Watch this space:eyes:
