for those that are looking and have a fair idea of current prices, what is this thing worth in todays market? Is mid 20s somewhere reasonable?

have PM'ed you my number, Couple of things to note.

Car is located in Cairns
Stereo Volume button is faulty (sometimes it will go down in volume instead of up)
Steering wheel buttons faulty , Pressing the Up volume button might mute it, i've been told to take it apart and spray with contact cleaner, but i'm not confident removing the steering wheel (Airbag),

Has Extractors, Exhaust, LS1 Edit from Powertorque Bris.

Just serviced with Rear shocks replaced.

I was in no mood to sell it as i'm not letting it go for dealership trade in, and i've got no time to deal with selling it privately, but i saw this thread, and if you're willing to put down 13k i'm willing to sell.


That's for a 220rwkw Dec 2003 VY Calais, Black leather, 127km.

I'm no longer looking to sell as i've just spent $1500 on the car and can't justify letting it go for 13k, but i think that's what it's worth (to someone on these forums)

For yours, I'd say, if the buyer didn't see your mods add any value (which alot don't) 16-17k , If the buyer could appreciate your mods then i think your asking price is fine.

But as the car is obviously not stock, having had $15-$20k spent on it, that is not my market.

Someone wanting to spend 15K on a stock VY calais would never want to drive my car trust me!

I meant relative to the other modified cars in the marketplace.

I reckon your price is fine... someone will want something quick without doin all the work themselves especially if its in decent nic and looks good.. maybe drop it by a grand or 2 to sweeten the deal i certainly wouldnt let it go for under 20 unless your desperate and need the money.
