I am unfortunately selling my SV300 to help finance building a home.
Only 134 of these were made for the AS/NZ market by HSV in a single production run from Sep-Dec 2001. New price was around $95-100K plus ORC.

I have had the car for 5 years and never intended on selling it; I am very fussy with it and I am looking for someone similar who is keen to own a limited edition vehicle.

Vehicle is standard except for pacemaker headers, exhaust and strut-brace.
I also have the original headers and exhaust, as well as full service history, and owner's certificate etc to go with the vehicle.

I moved from Townsville to Canberra late last year, but the car is garaged in Wodonga, Vic, as I simply had no garage space for it here. If not sold by the end of June I may move it up to Canberra. It is currently unregistered, but will provide Vic RWC with sale.

The car recieved some scratches to the paintwork whilst being transported from Townsville (someone dry-wiped all the accumalated transport dust off the entire car), and it is currently at the spray-painters being re-sprayed and polished. Will be in excellent condition again once complete.

Other Info:
C4B Callaway Engine (300kw MAF-less tune)
T56 6 Spd Manual
SV300 embroidered Black and Tan Leather interior (Coulsons)
88,000km
Normal Senator/HSV inclusions.

Asking $32,000 but will consider any reasonable offers.

**Please note** If I am able to raise $30-odd thousand dollars before the car sells, it wil be immediately taken off the market!!!

Move it to Canberra and join the HSV Owners car club, we will respect it and admire it for you.

Nice. That may end up exactly what happens...................... you can live in a car, but you can't drive a house!

They must have wiped the dust off very heavily handed if it needs a respray ?

Yep.......... very keen indeed, although it was very heavy dust as well. Some will polish out, but there are a few additional scratches on top of the dry-wiped ones that went down through the colour - pretty hard to miss on a black car.

Rear spoiler had also been rubbed from underneath by a hydraulic ramp on the truck, which had also pushed the tail-pipes up into the exhaust recess, popping off the rubber exhaust mounts at the muffler. Annoy-ingly there were greasy hand marks all over the exhaust and rear bar, so someone obviously noticed the damage, but nobody told me; I had to raise the issue with the company myself after it was delivered (on 23 Dec!)

I had just had the front-end resprayed to repair the many tiny stone-chips that 5 years of driving on Nth Qld Roads had resulted in, so any scratches from transporting were pretty easily picked out (the rest of the paint job always polished so any marks on it stood out too).

To think I even paid more $$ than normal to ensure the car was in a curtained truck from Townsville to Brisbane and fully enclosed from Brisbane to Canberra. I would have been better off hiring a small flat-bed truck or enclosed car trailer and moving it myself.

Clearly this matter wasn't one I have been very pleased about!
