Program remote for VS

A mate of mine bought a new remote for his VS. Does anybody know the ignition sequence on how to program the code to his car?

im pretty sure you have to get the key coded by holden,

I had a locksmith program a key for my VT a few years back, there was an ignition sequence he did to program the key to my car but I can't remember what it was. I should've written it down.....

A mate of mine got his done a few weeks back, I'll ask him how he did his and post it up (prob be tomorrow). I'm pretty sure he said he just turned the ignition on and left it for 10 seconds or so and then started it, then when he took the key out he could lock/unlock it?
