Hi forum,

Ok, so I'm having a spot of bother. I am trying to remove the garnish off of the boot on my Monaro. Easy I thought - until I find two clips towards the lower edge of the boot that I just cannot unclip (one of those squeeze it in and pop it through types). Has any one got any tips???? I can't even get a grip on these things hardly. Why do Holden have to make things difficult??? I can't even take photos as they are in effect within the skin of the boot - bloody thing.

Rgds,

I used some long nosed pliers (the longest I had) & was just able to reach & compress the clips. It's a bugger of a job. Whilst it's off - check the rubber strip/seal that runs along the top edge of the garnish. They tend to work lose over time & I had to reglue mine.

Thanks mate - that is the exact reason I'm taking the thing off as I noticed that it must be damaged as I found a little bit of damp in the boot.

Cheers,
