VZ SS tail lights

Hi Guys,

I really want to put some VZ SS tail lights on my VY SS. I have seen that a lot of people have already done this exercise.

The only question I have: Where are most people purchasing these lights from? The cheapest place I can find so far is a power seller on ebay for $325 + $27 freight.

The cheapest way would be second hand from a wrecker or you could try Holden direct and see what they charge.
Also try NVU and Holmart, both sell brand new old stock but similar prices to the ebay price.

Thanks surfwagon. I would like to stick with new tail lights (and definitely stay clear of wreckers), unless an LS1 member is keen to sell me a pair of 2nd hand tail lights in very good to excellent condition.

Holmart are charging $220 per tail light ($440 in total)
Ebay => cheapest I found was $325 for the pair
Holden...I'm scared to ask....I enquired about some VZ SS fog lights and they quoted me $250 per light (i.e. $500 in total :eek: )
NVU => I'm trying to find the search option to find the lights without having to search page after page.

Anyone else got any more ideas?

Have a shot at the wreckers mate you can check out the condition of them right there and go out and plug them into your car to make sure they work. Theres not many second hand ones around, most are wreckers or buy new. Nobody upgrades VZ SS tailights.

You have got that right. I was just hoping that there was another retailer/wholesaler (other than Holden, NVU, & Holmart) out there that sells these tail lights (new) at a good price.

Will give them a ring tomorrow. I just didn't bother initially since I was recently (two weeks ago) quoted $500 for VZ SS tail lights

haha have some mint cond SV8 ones for sale, same as SS ones but not tinted :D

Thanks anyway...definitely want the tinted ones...so far my best bet is to go for the ones on ebay

You'll also need the VZ SS tail light wiring looms to fit them to a VY. Have done so on my car.

Thanks mate. I just went on their website and they only seem to have VT & VX tail lights atm
