Hello everyone
I have been a member for about a week now and have read alot of threads, great info on this forum have learnt alot about my car without even asking, awesome. :goodjob:

I have a 2004 wk statesman and i am looking a some mods to refine the stato just that little bit more for as little as possible. Owned a VR Statesman many years ago and ended up spending 13k, car was brilliant, but resale was only 13k, just didnt seem right.

Anyway, so far from what i have read, CAI, 2nd hole mod, diff ratio and edit seem to be the way to go for bang for buck. If anyone else has some reasonably cheap mods without sacrificing drivability I would love to hear them.

Again, awesome site and look forward to hearing hearing from you.

Hello again
I also have a problem with the rear end, after a highway drive and i get on to normal city streets, at really low speeds i get a knocking in the rear end but it goes away after i get to about 20kph, very strange, I thought maybe the diff, but if it was the diff it would be there all the time not just after highway driving, i thought maybe the T/C but it still works fine and nothing changes when it kicks in. I just dont know very confused, can anyone suggest anything.

Thanks in advance.

A loose shocker? I had the same noise on my Ford (before I wrote it off) a little while back and it turned out to be a shocker that had come a bit loose.
