Blacking Badges

Hey guys, I have a HSV VE Clubby, and am wanting to black all my badges out.
Do these things simply just lift off, or can you buy black badges? Or am I better of buying new ones and getting them painted.

taking them off will almost always break the badges and if it doesnt itll take the adhesive off the back and you will have to buy new adhesive and then cut it very diligently to fit,
SO, short answer is its much easier to buy new ones and paint them
