Guess the security systems aren't as strong as Holden said they are in VE's.

Sorry to hear about it being pinched.....

Really hope it is found undamaged and in working order....

The best thing to deter these guys is spend an extra 20 seconds and pull the fuses for your ignition/ecu/bcm as if these fuses are missing it will take a hell of a lot longer for them to try and figure out why the car wont start....They will probably move on to another car rather than risk being caught...

But again, I hope it is found and the scum that stole it are crucified in a public and shamefull way....

Guess the security systems aren't as strong as Holden said they are in VE's.security system is as good if not better than previous models....its more the crooks are getting wiser.

easier to break into someone house while they are sleeping, take the keys from the kitchen bench and quietly remove the car starting it up down the road and driving off...

I have two different friends that have recently been through this. Broken in to at night, small stuff goes, jewellery/wallets/car keys etc. Police start investigating and then few days later, thiefs come back, load up the car and leave. One of them was in a gated estate as well.

Not good news for the green beast, hope you get her back...

Best of luck getting it back

This happened to a mate with a VX S. He had Gen 3 badges and SS badges on it. They broke into his house flogged the keys and stole the car. It was found about 1km away. They dumped it when they realised it was a V6 lol

The thieves need a public flogging ! Hope they find the car.
I don't need to know how to steal a car, but, is it that easy to steal a car of today ?
With all the electronics in cars today, once you lock your car, is it still that easy ?
And how easy is it to break into a VE ?
