To mark the end of production for the current generation of Dodge Viper, the company has come up with this unique gold-on-gold paint job - just in case the noise from the 8.4-litre V10 engine wasn't doing enough to attract your attention.
As the new car made its way out of Dodge's Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit it was greeted by 400 Viper owners, plus its new custodians D'Ann and Wayne Rauh from Texas.

From what I read thats it for the Viper as well? No new model? Most articles I have read state production was due to cease in 2011 but seems that was brough forward to 2010?
Bit of a shame...

That is one ugly ass viper.
Sad to see it go (not that one in particular). One of my childhood favourite cars.
edit: I'm sure it will make a come back in a few years and be stunning, they are doing quite well with these rehash cars.

That gold on gold paint scheme says everything about Dodge Viper; American trash.
